Sirius & Orion is one Warframe shared by two brothers. They occupy the same body and swap places when you hold an ability button: Sirius brings fire, healing and a dome, Orion brings gravity, armour stripping and a black hole. The only frame in the game that carries two separate stat lines at once.

Can you buy Sirius & Orion for platinum

Straight to it: yes, the shop asks 370 platinum and the frame arrives fully built with a slot.

  • 370 platinum buys the finished frame and a free slot for it. Rushing the final build separately costs 50 platinum.
  • There is no Prime version. The frame landed on 17 June 2026 in update 43.0, and Primes follow years after the original, so there is nothing to buy on the market.
  • The blueprints are not tradeable, neither the main one nor the components. It is the shop or the farm, there is no third route here.
  • Mastery ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.

Where the blueprints come from

There are two sources and they work differently. A quest hands over the main blueprint, and the three components sit in Railjack.

  • The main blueprint. Awarded for completing the Jade Shadows: Constellations quest. You can only start it after the first Jade Shadows, so if that one is unfinished, begin there.
  • Neuroptics, Chassis, Systems. They drop from two targets on Uranus Proxima in Empyrean: The Kuva Wytch and Scoria's Angel. Each blueprint has a 14.29 percent chance, which averages out to roughly seven runs per part.
  • You do not have to rely on luck. The same missions pay tokens: Emerald Talent from the Kuva Wytch and Crimson Talent from Scoria's Angel. Hunhow at Pontis Tower sells a component for 90 tokens and the main blueprint for 275. A mission pays 12 to 16 tokens, and 18 to 22 on Steel Path.
  • Do the arithmetic. Three components come to 270 tokens, about twenty missions. The drop route averages a similar number of runs, but tokens are guaranteed and do not care about luck. Bank them from the very first run and bad luck stops mattering.

And this is where Digital Extremes removed the wall that stopped everyone in previous seasons. Uranus Proxima unlocks with the same quest, and by the official update description these are the most accessible Railjack missions to date: no Intrinsics rank needed, and no ship of your own either. Railjack used to mean building a Railjack first. Now you open the Empyrean menu and fly. Tokens and blueprints drop for you exactly as they do for the captain.

What it is built from

The build runs in two stages: three components at twelve hours each, which can sit in the foundry at the same time, then the frame itself at 72 hours. From the first press to a finished Sirius & Orion is roughly 84 hours and 70,000 credits across every build. Rushing the final stage costs 50 platinum.

Where to farm the resources

Half the list is Railjack material: Carbides, Ticor Plate, Asterite, Nullstones and Isos. That sounds intimidating and is actually the easiest part of the build. All five drop in the same Empyrean missions you are already running for the blueprints, from asteroids, red barrels, metal scrap around wreckage and green rifts. No separate trip is needed, you just have to stop flying past the debris.

The slowest items are Control Modules, at 20, and Morphics, at 30. Both come from outside Railjack, so this is the one line worth leaving Empyrean for.

ResourceWhere it drops
Carbides, Ticor Plate, Asterite, Nullstones, IsosEmpyrean missions. Asteroids, red barrels, metal scrap around wreckage and green rifts
Control Module x20Void missions, plus Neptune and Europa. Ani on the Void is the usual survival for them
Morphics x30Mercury and Earth. Apollodorus on Mercury is a short survival that keeps handing them out
Gallium x5Uranus and Mars. Ophelia on Uranus is the reliable one
Orokin Cell x3Gabii on Ceres, with Deimos as the alternative
Circuits x250, Rubedo x600, Alloy Plate x400, Polymer Bundle x500These pile up on their own as you play. Kiste on Ceres and Hieracon on Pluto cover all of them

What the two of them actually do

Sirius from Warframe

The central mechanic is the swap. Each of the first three abilities fires as the brother currently in the body when tapped, and swaps brothers to cast his version when held. A swap grants 45 percent ability efficiency for the next two casts, and below fifty energy the brothers start pulling it from each other.

  • Coronal Ejection, Sirius. Throws a scythe that deals heat damage and hoovers up pickups on the way. Hold to switch to Orion's Gravitic Slash, which strips armour and shields.
  • Jade Stars, Sirius. A crown of jade motes that regenerate on their own and fire heat damage at whoever attacks. Hold for Orion's Astral Shell, a shell that turns into a decoy the moment it takes damage.
  • Light's Sanctuary, Sirius. A well of light that heals, cuts incoming damage and revives downed allies, growing as it stands. Hold for Orion's Event Horizon, a drifting black hole.
  • Celestial Clash, shared. The brothers take to the air and duel, each hit spending a Constellation Star and landing as collateral area damage. Stars build up from normal ability casts, and matching a star's colour to the frame's colour raises critical chance.

The brothers do not share stats, and that matters more than it sounds. Sirius carries more health and shields, 475 and 355, but only 160 armour. Orion sits at 350 and 270 with 300 armour. Energy is 200 for both. In practice you want to be Orion when the room is shooting at you, and Sirius when the squad needs the dome.

Is Sirius & Orion worth building

This is the most unusual frame released in years: not a new set of abilities so much as a different way of playing, where half the power sits in swapping at the right moment.

The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70,000 credits across all the builds together. The shop asks 370 platinum for a finished one.

Build it if you are willing to fly Railjack and you like frames that ask you to think. Skip it if you have never touched Empyrean and do not intend to, because there is no way around it here, and buying with platinum is the most expensive option on the whole frame list.

Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
