CD PROJEKT RED has confirmed the exact launch time for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered. The remaster unlocks worldwide at the same moment on Tuesday, 29 September, at 10:00 UTC: 11:00 in London, 12:00 in Warsaw and 03:00 in Los Angeles. For owners of The Witcher 3 it is a free upgrade on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2.

The studio posted a map with these times on the official The Witcher account on X on 24 September. New York is not on the map, but at UTC-4 it lands at 06:00. The post says nothing about preloading.
What to know before you jump in
- Free for owners on all four platforms. Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine are part of the remaster, and have already been free for every base game owner since 25 August.
- On PC you need Windows 11 and an SSD, with about 70 GB of space. The minimum GPU is a GTX 1660, RX 5500 XT 8 GB or Arc A580.
- Saves carry over, but skills are reset because the skill tree was reworked.
- Graphics: path tracing on PC, plus DLSS, FSR and XeSS. The comparisons the studio showed this week drew criticism over water reflections, so the final look will only be clear after launch.
