Styanax is the spearman: Axios Javelin pins the crowd, Final Stand fans javelins across the room, Rally Point hands the squad shields and energy. The first frame ever given away for free on an anniversary.

Can you buy Styanax for platinum

Buying is simple here, yes, Styanax costs 175 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.

  • Price. 175 platinum for a built Styanax with a slot for it.
  • Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.

There is a second route people forget about. A full Styanax Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 39 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 4.5 times cheaper than the 175 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 175 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.

Is there a Styanax Prime

Yes, Styanax Prime exists and is available right now. Parts drop from Void relics the usual way: farm relics, crack them in a fissure, collect four blueprints. Trading works too, built parts sell for platinum.

The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 3 700 Ferrite instead of 3 000. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.

Blueprints come from Chipper in Kahl's Garrison for Stock, earned in the weekly Break Narmer missions that open after Veilbreaker. The ranks differ: Systems at Rank 2 Encampment, Neuroptics at Rank 3 Fort, Chassis at Rank 4 Settlement, the main blueprint at Rank 5 Home. A component costs 60 Stock, the main one 90, the whole set 270. Since the missions are weekly, Styanax stretches across several weeks.

What it is built from

It builds like every other frame: three parts, then the main blueprint over them. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.

Look at Thrax Plasm first. The recipe asks for 400, and you will have to go and get it deliberately. Zariman missions, from Thrax units. Void Cascade gives the most of them per run. Second heaviest is Voidplume Quill at 15. Zariman, from collectible plumes scattered around the tileset. Bring a loot radar mod. Everything else accumulates while you play and needs no special trip.

Is Styanax worth building

Styanax throws a spear and never runs out of shields: Final Stand rains javelins while Tharros Strike strips armour and refills him.

The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70 000 credits across all the builds together. A finished Prime set on the market runs about 39 platinum.

Free during his release event and strong ever after. The build cost is the highest tier in the game.

Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
