Ash is the quiet killer from the very first roster: shuriken, a smoke screen, a teleport into someone's back and Blade Storm, which cuts through a marked crowd without you doing much. Old school, still taken on spy runs.
Can you buy Ash for platinum

Short answer: yes, Ash costs 375 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.
- Price. 375 platinum for a built Ash with a slot for it.
- Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.
There is a second route people forget about. A full Ash Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 65 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 5.8 times cheaper than the 375 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 375 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.
Is there a Ash Prime

Yes, Ash Prime exists, but it is vaulted: its relics left the drop tables on 30.05.2017. That leaves three ways in: trade the parts from other players, catch it in Prime Resurgence when Varzia offers it for Regal Aya, or wait for an unvaulting.
The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 1 000 Salvage instead of 500. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.

Where the blueprints come from

Ash's main blueprint sits in the Market. The component blueprints come out of Railjack: Systems in Venus Proxima, Neuroptics in Neptune Proxima, Chassis in Pluto Proxima, from Survival, Defense, Exterminate and Volatile missions. Without a built Railjack or a friendly captain in the squad there is nothing to do there. The short way round is The Circuit after The Duviri Paradox: on the week Ash is up, the tier 10 reward hands over the whole set.
What it is built from

The build runs in four passes: three components at twelve hours each, then the frame itself. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.
| Blueprint | Credits | Time | Resources per build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chassis | 15 000 | 12 h | Morphics x1, Ferrite x1 000, Rubedo x300 |
| Neuroptics | 15 000 | 12 h | Alloy Plate x150, Neural Sensors x1, Polymer Bundle x150, Rubedo x500 |
| Systems | 15 000 | 12 h | Control Module x1, Morphics x1, Salvage x500, Plastids x500 |
| Ash | 25 000 | 72 h | Ash Neuroptics x1, Ash Chassis x1, Ash Systems x1, Orokin Cell x1 |
Where to farm the resources

Ash has no real resource bottleneck: everything on the list piles up while you play. The only item worth a deliberate trip is Morphics, and you need 2. Mercury and Earth. Apollodorus on Mercury is a short survival that keeps handing them out.
| Resource | Where it drops |
|---|---|
| Orokin Cell | Ceres, Saturn, and Deimos |
| Morphics | Mercury, Mars, Phobos, Europa, and Pluto |
| Ferrite | Mercury, Earth, Lua, Neptune, and the Void |
| Rubedo | Earth, Lua, Phobos, Europa, Pluto, Sedna, and the Void |
| Alloy Plate | Venus, Phobos, Ceres, Jupiter, Pluto, and Sedna |
| Neural Sensors | Jupiter |
| Polymer Bundle | Mercury, Venus, and Uranus |
| Control Module | Europa, Neptune, and the Void |
| Salvage | Mars, Jupiter, and Sedna |
| Plastids | Phobos, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, and Eris |
Is Ash worth building
Ash is the quiet one: Smoke Screen makes you invisible on demand, Blade Storm marks a crowd and deletes it while you stand still.
The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70 000 credits across all the builds together. A finished Prime set on the market runs about 65 platinum.
Worth it if you like stealth but do not want Loki's fragility. Skip it if you prefer holding a trigger.
Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
