Xaku is assembled from three broken Warframes and behaves accordingly: Grasp of Lohk yanks weapons out of enemy hands and shoots with them, The Lost offers three different abilities to pick from. One of the most original frames in the game.

Can you buy Xaku for platinum

Official render of Xaku from Warframe

Straight to it: yes, Xaku costs 325 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.

  • Price. 325 platinum for a built Xaku with a slot for it.
  • Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.

There is a second route people forget about. A full Xaku Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 25 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 13.0 times cheaper than the 325 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 325 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.

Is there a Xaku Prime

Yes, Xaku Prime exists and is available right now. Parts drop from Void relics the usual way: farm relics, crack them in a fissure, collect four blueprints. Trading works too, built parts sell for platinum.

The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 5 Orokin Cell instead of 3. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.

Where the blueprints come from

The main blueprint is a reward for Heart of Deimos. Components drop from Cambion Drift bounties and the bounty level matters: Neuroptics at level 15 to 25, Systems at 30 to 40, Chassis at either 40 to 60 or Steel Path level 100. The reward starts appearing from the second stage of a bounty onwards. A repeat main blueprint costs 50,000 standing at Cephalon Simaris. One extra catch: building needs Gyromag Systems, which want Rank 5 Old Mate with Solaris United or Rank 1 Operative with Vox Solaris.

What it is built from

The usual order: three components in parallel, then the Warframe on top of them. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.

Where to farm the resources

There is exactly one bottleneck here, and it is Scintillant: the recipe wants 5 and it will not pile up on its own. Cambion Drift on Deimos, floating in the air and inside Isolation Vaults. The drop rate is the worst part of it. Second heaviest is Breath of the Eidolon at 10. Plains of Eidolon at night, from the mist near the water. Same trip as the wisps, so do both in one night. Everything else accumulates while you play and needs no special trip.

Is Xaku worth building

Xaku is three broken frames stitched together: The Vast Untime strips armour from everything and their guns float and fire on their own.

The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70 000 credits across all the builds together. A finished Prime set on the market runs about 25 platinum.

One of the best Steel Path frames. The build list is long and touches three open worlds.

Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
