Xaku is assembled from three broken Warframes and behaves accordingly: Grasp of Lohk yanks weapons out of enemy hands and shoots with them, The Lost offers three different abilities to pick from. One of the most original frames in the game.
Can you buy Xaku for platinum

Straight to it: yes, Xaku costs 325 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.
- Price. 325 platinum for a built Xaku with a slot for it.
- Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.
There is a second route people forget about. A full Xaku Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 25 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 13.0 times cheaper than the 325 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 325 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.
Is there a Xaku Prime

Yes, Xaku Prime exists and is available right now. Parts drop from Void relics the usual way: farm relics, crack them in a fissure, collect four blueprints. Trading works too, built parts sell for platinum.
The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 5 Orokin Cell instead of 3. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.
| Blueprint | Relics it drops from | Ducats | Resources per build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main blueprint | Lith X1 Relic, Meso X1 Relic, Neo X1 Relic | 100 | Xaku Prime Neuroptics x1, Xaku Prime Chassis x1, Xaku Prime Systems x1, Orokin Cell x5 |
| Chassis | Axi V12 Relic, Lith O4 Relic, Neo C9 Relic, Neo G8 Relic, Neo K9 Relic, Neo V11 Relic, Neo V12 Relic | 45 | Nitain Extract x2, Tellurium x2, Ferrite x3 600, Oxium x300 |
| Neuroptics | Axi T13 Relic, Lith N17 Relic, Lith S16 Relic, Meso A10 Relic, Meso E6 Relic, Meso K8 Relic, Meso T8 Relic, Meso V11 Relic | 15 | Neural Sensors x3, Oxium x250, Plastids x350, Alloy Plate x4 250 |
| Systems | Axi A19 Relic, Axi M6 Relic, Axi S20 Relic, Lith A10 Relic, Lith A12 Relic, Neo O3 Relic | 45 | Argon Crystal x2, Neurodes x3, Cryotic x550, Nano Spores x3 175 |
Where the blueprints come from

The main blueprint is a reward for Heart of Deimos. Components drop from Cambion Drift bounties and the bounty level matters: Neuroptics at level 15 to 25, Systems at 30 to 40, Chassis at either 40 to 60 or Steel Path level 100. The reward starts appearing from the second stage of a bounty onwards. A repeat main blueprint costs 50,000 standing at Cephalon Simaris. One extra catch: building needs Gyromag Systems, which want Rank 5 Old Mate with Solaris United or Rank 1 Operative with Vox Solaris.
What it is built from

The usual order: three components in parallel, then the Warframe on top of them. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.
| Blueprint | Credits | Time | Resources per build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chassis | 15 000 | 12 h | Gyromag Systems x5, Spinal Core Section x3, Venerdo Alloy x50, Lucent Teroglobe x50 |
| Neuroptics | 15 000 | 12 h | Neural Sensors x10, Thaumic Distillate x60, Sharrac Teeth x20, Esher Devar x40 |
| Systems | 15 000 | 12 h | Breath of the Eidolon x10, Scintillant x5, Pustulite x45, Ganglion x60 |
| Xaku | 25 000 | 72 h | Xaku Neuroptics x1, Xaku Chassis x1, Xaku Systems x1, Orokin Cell x3 |
Where to farm the resources

There is exactly one bottleneck here, and it is Scintillant: the recipe wants 5 and it will not pile up on its own. Cambion Drift on Deimos, floating in the air and inside Isolation Vaults. The drop rate is the worst part of it. Second heaviest is Breath of the Eidolon at 10. Plains of Eidolon at night, from the mist near the water. Same trip as the wisps, so do both in one night. Everything else accumulates while you play and needs no special trip.
| Resource | Where it drops |
|---|---|
| Orokin Cell | Ceres, Saturn, and Deimos |
| Gyromag Systems | Obtained by completing Heists on the Orb Vallis (Venus) |
| Spinal Core Section | Vitreospina fish in the Orb Vallis caves |
| Venerdo Alloy | built from Venerol ore, blueprint from Smokefinger for 2,000 standing |
| Lucent Teroglobe | Cambion Drift on Deimos |
| Neural Sensors | Jupiter |
| Thaumic Distillate | built from Thaumica ore, mined on Deimos |
| Sharrac Teeth | Sharrac fish, coastlines near Cetus |
| Esher Devar | built from the Devar gem, blueprint from Old Man Suumbaat for 2,500 Ostron standing |
| Breath of the Eidolon | Plains of Eidolon Bounties on Earth |
| Scintillant | Cambion Drift on Deimos |
| Pustulite | Cambion Drift on Deimos |
| Ganglion | Cambion Drift on Deimos |
Is Xaku worth building
Xaku is three broken frames stitched together: The Vast Untime strips armour from everything and their guns float and fire on their own.
The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70 000 credits across all the builds together. A finished Prime set on the market runs about 25 platinum.
One of the best Steel Path frames. The build list is long and touches three open worlds.
Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
