Baruuk does not want to fight, and the game plays that straight: the less you hit, the better he dodges and the faster Restraint builds. When his patience runs out Serene Storm switches on and the fists settle it.
Can you buy Baruuk for platinum

Buying is simple here, yes, Baruuk costs 325 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.
- Price. 325 platinum for a built Baruuk with a slot for it.
- Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.
There is a second route people forget about. A full Baruuk Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 50 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 6.5 times cheaper than the 325 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 325 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.
Is there a Baruuk Prime

Yes, Baruuk Prime exists, but it is vaulted: its relics left the drop tables on 13.11.2024. That leaves three ways in: trade the parts from other players, catch it in Prime Resurgence when Varzia offers it for Regal Aya, or wait for an unvaulting.
The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 5 250 Salvage instead of 3 250. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.
| Blueprint | Relics it drops from | Ducats | Resources per build |

Where the blueprints come from

Baruuk's blueprints come from Little Duck of Vox Solaris on Fortuna. The main one needs Rank 2 Agent, the components Rank 3 Hand, each costs 5,000 standing, 20,000 for the set. Vox Solaris standing comes from Toroids and Orb Vallis heists. The alternative is the usual one: The Circuit after The Duviri Paradox, tiers 2, 5, 8 and 10.
What it is built from

It builds like every other frame: three parts, then the main blueprint over them. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.
| Blueprint | Credits | Time | Resources per build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chassis | 15 000 | 12 h | Vega Toroid x3, Salvage x3 250, Hespazym Alloy x100, Marquise Thyst x5 |
| Neuroptics | 15 000 | 12 h | Sola Toroid x3, Alloy Plate x2 850, Hespazym Alloy x50, Synathid Ecosynth Analyzer x5 |
| Systems | 15 000 | 12 h | Calda Toroid x3, Ferrite x2 500, Tromyzon Entroplasma x10, Radiant Zodian x5 |
| Baruuk | 25 000 | 72 h | Baruuk Neuroptics x1, Baruuk Chassis x1, Baruuk Systems x1, Orokin Cell x1 |
Where to farm the resources

Baruuk has no real resource bottleneck: everything on the list piles up while you play. The only item worth a deliberate trip is Calda Toroid, and you need 3. Orb Vallis, dropped by enemies around the Temple of Profit. Farm at the base rather than roaming.
| Resource | Where it drops |
|---|---|
| Orokin Cell | Ceres, Saturn, and Deimos |
| Vega Toroid | enemies at the Spaceport on Orb Vallis, Mite Raknoids and cave pickups |
| Salvage | Mars, Jupiter, and Sedna |
| Hespazym Alloy | built from Hesperon ore, blueprint from Smokefinger for 4,000 standing at Rapscallion |
| Marquise Thyst | built from the Thyst gem, blueprint from Smokefinger for 12,000 standing at Cove |
| Sola Toroid | enemies at the Temple of Profit on Orb Vallis, Kyta Raknoids and cave pickups |
| Alloy Plate | Venus, Phobos, Ceres, Jupiter, Pluto, and Sedna |
| Synathid Ecosynth Analyzer | Synathid servofish, Orb Vallis cave hotspots, Synathid Bait recommended |
| Calda Toroid | enemies at the Enrichment Labs on Orb Vallis, Scyto Raknoids and cave pickups |
| Ferrite | Mercury, Earth, Lua, Neptune, and the Void |
| Tromyzon Entroplasma | Tromyzon servofish, Orb Vallis ponds in cold weather |
| Radiant Zodian | built from the Zodian gem, blueprint from Smokefinger for 8,000 standing |
Is Baruuk worth building
Baruuk gets stronger the less he fights: Serene Storm turns accumulated restraint into a melee mode that ignores most incoming damage.
The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70 000 credits across all the builds together. A finished Prime set on the market runs about 50 platinum.
One of the safest frames in the game once you understand him, and one of the most confusing before that.
Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
