Can you buy Gyre for platinum
Short answer: yes, Gyre costs 325 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.
- Price. 325 platinum for a built Gyre with a slot for it.
- Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.
There is a second route people forget about. A full Gyre Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 30 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 10.8 times cheaper than the 325 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 325 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.
Is there a Gyre Prime
Yes, Gyre Prime exists and is available right now. Parts drop from Void relics the usual way: farm relics, crack them in a fissure, collect four blueprints. Trading works too, built parts sell for platinum.
The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 4 250 Alloy Plate instead of 3 300. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.

Where the blueprints come from
Every Gyre blueprint, main and components alike, drops from The Holdfasts bounties on the Chrysalith, which is to say on the Zariman. Access opens with the Angels of the Zariman quest. No bosses, no rotations, just bounties.
What it is built from
The build runs in four passes: three components at twelve hours each, then the frame itself. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.

Where to farm the resources
There is exactly one bottleneck here, and it is Thrax Plasm: the recipe wants 1100 and it will not pile up on its own. Zariman missions, from Thrax units. Void Cascade gives the most of them per run. Second heaviest is Voidplume Quill at 40. Zariman, from collectible plumes scattered around the tileset. Bring a loot radar mod. Everything else accumulates while you play and needs no special trip.
