Ivara is stealth and a bow. Prowl keeps her invisible and picks pockets, Quiver hands out four arrow types, Artemis Bow fires in bursts. The best frame for spy missions, and that is not up for debate.
Can you buy Ivara for platinum

In short, yes, Ivara costs 325 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.
- Price. 325 platinum for a built Ivara with a slot for it.
- Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.
There is a second route people forget about. A full Ivara Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 69 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 4.7 times cheaper than the 325 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 325 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.
Is there a Ivara Prime

Yes, Ivara Prime exists, but it is vaulted: its relics left the drop tables on 15.12.2021. That leaves three ways in: trade the parts from other players, catch it in Prime Resurgence when Varzia offers it for Regal Aya, or wait for an unvaulting.
The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 9 Morphics instead of 5. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.
| Blueprint | Relics it drops from | Ducats | Resources per build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main blueprint | Axi B4 Relic, Axi S13 Relic, Lith B8 Relic, Lith N4 Relic, Lith N5 Relic, Lith N7 Relic, Meso N9 Relic | 45 | Ivara Prime Neuroptics x1, Ivara Prime Chassis x1, Ivara Prime Systems x1, Orokin Cell x5 |
| Chassis | Lith I1 Relic, Neo I1 Relic, Neo I2 Relic, Neo I3 Relic | 100 | Nitain Extract x2, Control Module x5, Plastids x250, Nano Spores x1 800 |
| Neuroptics | Lith D3 Relic, Meso B5 Relic, Meso C4 Relic, Meso D6 Relic, Meso N10 Relic, Meso O6 Relic, Neo M3 Relic, Neo T4 Relic | 15 | Argon Crystal x2, Cryotic x600, Circuits x750, Salvage x4 250 |
| Systems | Axi A15 Relic, Axi A9 Relic, Axi C6 Relic, Lith A4 Relic, Lith T7 Relic, Meso P2 Relic | 45 | Neurodes x4, Morphics x9, Oxium x175, Ferrite x3 200 |
Where the blueprints come from

The main blueprint is in the Market. Components drop from spy missions, nightmare ones included, depending on mission level. Alerts and sorties do not award identified items and are out. All parts sit in Rotation C of the reward tables, so three clean vault extractions are needed before they can even show up. The Steel Path does not help, its spy tables are the same as normal. The Circuit after The Duviri Paradox closes the set at tiers 2, 5, 8 and 10.
What it is built from

The Foundry wants four runs: three components first, the final assembly after. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.
| Blueprint | Credits | Time | Resources per build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chassis | 15 000 | 12 h | Morphics x5, Cryotic x2 000, Rubedo x700, Nitain Extract x4 |
| Neuroptics | 15 000 | 12 h | Neurodes x5, Plastids x800, Polymer Bundle x2 600, Argon Crystal x2 |
| Systems | 15 000 | 12 h | Control Module x5, Rubedo x1 000, Nitain Extract x5, Argon Crystal x1 |
| Ivara | 25 000 | 72 h | Ivara Neuroptics x1, Ivara Chassis x1, Ivara Systems x1, Orokin Cell x1 |
Where to farm the resources

There is exactly one bottleneck here, and it is Nitain Extract: the recipe wants 9 and it will not pile up on its own. Nightwave Cred Offerings, 15 creds a piece. It does not drop from enemies any more, so this one is bought weekly and cannot be rushed. Second heaviest is Cryotic at 2000. Excavation missions only. Hieracon on Pluto is the standard, and it hands out relics at the same time. Everything else accumulates while you play and needs no special trip.
| Resource | Where it drops |
|---|---|
| Orokin Cell | Ceres, Saturn, and Deimos |
| Morphics | Mercury, Mars, Phobos, Europa, and Pluto |
| Cryotic | Excavation Missions on Venus, Earth, Phobos, Europa, and Neptune |
| Rubedo | Earth, Lua, Phobos, Europa, Pluto, Sedna, and the Void |
| Nitain Extract | Nightwave Cred Offerings |
| Neurodes | Earth, Lua, Eris, and Deimos |
| Plastids | Phobos, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, and Eris |
| Polymer Bundle | Mercury, Venus, and Uranus |
| Argon Crystal | Missions in the Void |
| Control Module | Europa, Neptune, and the Void |
Is Ivara worth building
Ivara steals: Prowl keeps you invisible while you pickpocket, and her arrows cover sleep, zip lines and noise traps.
The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70 000 credits across all the builds together. A finished Prime set on the market runs about 69 platinum.
The safest spy frame in the game. Getting her out of Spy vaults takes patience, and so does the Nitain.
Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
