Wisp hovers and turns invisible in the air. Reservoirs plant three wells that heal, hasten and stun, Sol Gate burns a hole through the room. One of the most comfortable supports in the game.
Can you buy Wisp for platinum

Short answer: yes, Wisp costs 325 platinum in the Market and arrives fully built with a free slot.
- Price. 325 platinum for a built Wisp with a slot for it.
- Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.
There is a second route people forget about. A full Wisp Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 70 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 4.6 times cheaper than the 325 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 325 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.
Is there a Wisp Prime

Yes, Wisp Prime exists, but it is vaulted: its relics left the drop tables on 21.05.2025. That leaves three ways in: trade the parts from other players, catch it in Prime Resurgence when Varzia offers it for Regal Aya, or wait for an unvaulting.
The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: it eats 1 500 Rubedo instead of 950. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.

Where the blueprints come from

Every Wisp blueprint, main and components, drops from the Ropalolyst on the node of the same name on Jupiter. It is a set piece fight: the Sentient has to be dragged to the towers and discharged through them. Her blueprints drop nowhere else, so there is exactly one route.
What it is built from

The build runs in four passes: three components at twelve hours each, then the frame itself. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.
| Blueprint | Credits | Time | Resources per build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chassis | 15 000 | 12 h | Hexenon x500, Argon Crystal x1, Oxium x700, Alloy Plate x2 750 |
| Neuroptics | 15 000 | 12 h | Hexenon x300, Tellurium x2, Plastids x950, Polymer Bundle x2 200 |
| Systems | 15 000 | 12 h | Hexenon x400, Nitain Extract x2, Rubedo x950, Salvage x10 000 |
| Wisp | 25 000 | 72 h | Wisp Chassis x1, Wisp Neuroptics x1, Wisp Systems x1, Orokin Cell x3 |
Where to farm the resources

The line that slows everyone down is Hexenon. You need 1200, and this is where the build stalls. Jupiter, Gas City tileset. Io again, which makes it easy to farm alongside Oxium. Second heaviest is Oxium at 700. Oxium Ospreys drop it and almost nothing else does. Io on Jupiter is the classic spot because the defence waves keep sending them. Everything else accumulates while you play and needs no special trip.
| Resource | Where it drops |
|---|---|
| Orokin Cell | Ceres, Saturn, and Deimos |
| Hexenon | Jupiter |
| Argon Crystal | Missions in the Void |
| Oxium | Venus, Jupiter, Mars, Neptune, Pluto, Eris, Europa, and Lua |
| Alloy Plate | Venus, Phobos, Ceres, Jupiter, Pluto, and Sedna |
| Tellurium | Archwing Missions on Uranus |
| Plastids | Phobos, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, and Eris |
| Polymer Bundle | Mercury, Venus, and Uranus |
| Nitain Extract | Nightwave Cred Offerings |
| Rubedo | Earth, Lua, Phobos, Europa, Pluto, Sedna, and the Void |
| Salvage | Mars, Jupiter, and Sedna |
Is Wisp worth building
Wisp hovers instead of walking: her motes give the squad health, speed and shock on a permanent basis, and she is invisible in the air.
The numbers look like this: no mastery rank requirement, roughly 84 hours from the first foundry press to a finished frame, and 70 000 credits across all the builds together. A finished Prime set on the market runs about 70 platinum.
Arguably the best support in the game. Almost nothing about her build is a mistake.
Every other frame is broken down the same way, the full list lives in the guide to all Warframes.
