A 192 GB archive of Rockstar working files went up online, and it finally shows what the big GTA 5 story expansion was supposed to be. Inside: a cut Liberty City, the shelved Agent Trevor DLC and early GTA 6 groundwork. The important part first, this is not a new hack. The files trace back to the same 2022 breach that put dozens of GTA 6 development videos online.
There are no links to the archive in this piece and there will not be any. FramesGames only covers what outlets have already described, and Rockstar has not commented on the dump so far.
What sits in the archive

- Size. 192 GB. Some outlets round it up to two hundred, which is where the different headline numbers come from.
- Origin. The 2022 breach, not a fresh attack on the studio.
- Main contents. The cancelled Liberty City story expansion for GTA 5, the cancelled Agent Trevor DLC, cut missions and recorded dialogue.
- On GTA 6. Early chunks of the map and low quality renders which, by every description, look nothing like what the trailers showed.
The Liberty City we never got

This is the part that matters if you spent eleven years waiting for GTA 5 story DLC. Files from the archive were loaded into the CodeWalker map editor, and an outline of Liberty City shows up, larger in area than the city from GTA 4. Terrain test data sits next to it, which means the work had moved past the idea stage into a test build.
For context, GTA 5 never received a single story expansion, even though Rockstar talked about plans back in 2013. Now we have a rough idea of what got traded away for GTA Online.
Agent Trevor: spacesuits and a bunker under a mansion

The second cancelled expansion looks stranger still. The Agent Trevor files include a spaceship location, spacesuits and a large underground area beneath a mansion. There is also unused dialogue suggesting Trevor's ending could have gone somewhere very different, with liquid nitrogen in a leading role.
How far past a rough sketch any of this got, the files cannot tell you, and this is the honest place to stop: there are assets and voice lines, not a finished script.
Why this is not a GTA 6 leak

The GTA 6 headlines work better than the contents do. Yes, the archive holds early pieces of the Leonida map, recognisable Vice City style districts, an airport, a stadium and docks. But it is very early, low quality material that says almost nothing about the finished game. Two months out from release, the official trailers are a better use of your time than four year old test assets.
GTA 6 arrives on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Everything FramesGames writes about the dates, editions and the delay comes from Rockstar and Take-Two statements rather than from archives floating around the internet.
