The latest GTA 6 gameplay didn't come from a Rockstar trailer but from South Park. In season 29, episode 4, Guinea Pig on a Stick, which aired on Comedy Central on October 28, the boys watch about 17 seconds of a "confidential recording" of the game on a TV. It isn't an animated parody but real footage: the episode's end credits read "Grand Theft Auto VI footage courtesy of Rockstar Games, Inc.", meaning Rockstar supplied the clip itself. GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, less than three weeks away.
What the clip shows

It opens with Jason and Lucia driving around Vice City, then cuts to a crowded beach. A dog does its business on the sand, the owner bags it, Jason throws something at him, the man comes over to confront him, and Jason hits him with that very bag. According to outlets that watched the episode, the shot uses the usual third-person view with a minimap in the corner, so it looks like real gameplay rather than a cutscene. The main takeaway from those seconds: objects on the beach can be picked up and used in a scuffle with passers-by.
Why South Park

The whole of season 29, which the creators jokingly rebranded South America, runs on one gag: all of society's problems will be solved once GTA 6 comes out. This is the first time this season the show has used actual gameplay. Collaborations like this aren't new for South Park: in 2006 the episode Make Love, Not Warcraft was filmed inside World of Warcraft with help from Blizzard staff, and in November 2025 the episode Turkey Trot featured ARC Raiders, a deal that Embark's marketing lead said came together in a matter of days. Rockstar hasn't commented on the episode beyond the credit line. Everything known about the game before launch is in our big GTA 6 roundup.
