Nidus stacks mutation and grows with it: Virulence hits the ground and builds stacks, Larva drags a crowd together, Ravenous heals and infests the floor. He dies and gets back up as long as the stacks hold.

- Mastery. It ticks the same whether the frame was bought or built, so buying saves time, not rank.
There is a second route people forget about. A full Nidus Prime set on warframe.market goes for around 85 platinum as of 29 August 2026, which is 2.6 times cheaper than the 225 the shop wants for the regular version. The difference is what you get: 225 buys a finished frame with a slot, while a market set is blueprints that you still have to build and feed with resources. Platinum but no time, use the shop. Time but little platinum, buy the Prime set, which is the stronger frame anyway.
Is there a Nidus Prime
Yes, Nidus Prime exists, but it is vaulted: its relics left the drop tables on 27.07.2023. That leaves three ways in: trade the parts from other players, catch it in Prime Resurgence when Varzia offers it for Regal Aya, or wait for an unvaulting.
The Prime recipe is its own thing and noticeably heavier: the regular version needs no Alloy Plate at all, the Prime wants 5 500. Components cost 15,000 credits and 12 hours each, the final build costs 25,000 and sits for 72 h. The regular version takes exactly as long for its final build. Do not toss the spare parts, Baro Ki'Teer takes them for ducats, prices are in the table.

Where the blueprints come from
The main blueprint comes from The Glast Gambit, and a repeat costs 50,000 standing at Cephalon Simaris. Components drop from Infested Salvage on Oestrus, Eris, across rotations A, B and C, with noticeably better odds in C. It is an odd mission built around holding consoles and watching the infestation. The Circuit after The Duviri Paradox closes the set.

The usual order: three components in parallel, then the Warframe on top of them. Components run in the Foundry at the same time, so from the first click to a finished frame it is roughly 84 h: twelve for the parts and 72 for the Warframe itself.

Where to farm the resources
There is exactly one bottleneck here, and it is Morphics: the recipe wants 14 and it will not pile up on its own. Mercury and Earth. Apollodorus on Mercury is a short survival that keeps handing them out. Second heaviest is Circuits at 3500. Ceres and the Orb Vallis. Kiste on Ceres is the fastest of the two. Everything else accumulates while you play and needs no special trip.
