Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 finally has DLSS Frame Generation. Warhorse didn't add it, a modder did. chronicallybored put the mod on Nexus Mods on October 30 and pushed version 1.1.1 a day later. It drops Frame Generation, Multi Frame Generation for RTX 50 cards and NVIDIA Reflex straight into the game's own graphics menu, and swaps the DLSS library for version 310.9.16. The game still ships with upscalers only, so if you're on an RTX 40 or 50 card and Kuttenberg's market square drags your frame rate down, this is the least fiddly fix going.

What the mod adds: frame gen, Reflex and DLSS 310.9.16 in the game menu

The word that matters is "native". This isn't frame generation pasted over the finished image the way Lossless Scaling does it. The mod hooks NVIDIA's Streamline into the engine itself, and the rest of the feature list follows from that:
- Frame Generation and Multi Frame Generation. You pick the multiplier in the menu, and what's on offer depends on your GPU.
- Engine-level Reflex. Off, On and On + Boost, tied to the game's own input and render timing rather than an overlay.
- HUD kept out of the generated frames. Text, crosshairs and see-through UI shouldn't smear. That's usually where mods like this fall apart.
- DLSS 310.9.16 with live preset switching. Your preset sticks across quality modes, and setting the override to Off hands the CNN or Transformer choice back to the game.
HDR works too. The author tested it with the October 26 RenoDX build, ReShade 6.8.0.2155 and RivaTuner 7.3.5. There are no frame rate numbers on the page; it was all built on an RTX 4090. The author is also upfront that AI helped with the thumbnail, performance profiling and the licensing homework, and says anyone bothered by that can skip the mod. You don't see that sort of disclosure on Nexus very often.
Who it works for, and how to install or remove it

Regular frame generation runs on RTX 40 and 50 cards, Multi Frame Generation on RTX 50 only. RTX 40 owners can unlock MFG, and RTX 20 and 30 owners regular FG, with the third-party MFG Unlocker 1.7.0.1145. Use its version.dll variant and set it to Follow game so the multiplier comes from the in-game menu. The author calls this experimental, and I'd take that at face value.
Second condition: game version 1.5.6 on Steam. Other storefront builds haven't been checked, and you can see why from the install path alone, the files go into Bin\Win64MasterMasterSteamPGO. If you play through Game Pass or GOG, I'd wait for reports first.
- Install. Back up Bin\Win64Shared\nvngx_dlss.dll, then extract the Bin folder from the zip into the game directory and overwrite.
- Uninstall. In Bin\Win64MasterMasterSteamPGO, delete d3d12.dll and the KCD2FrameGeneration folder, then put your backup of nvngx_dlss.dll back in Bin\Win64Shared.
One tip from me: turn frame generation on only if the game already holds around 50-60 fps without it. From a low base, input lag climbs and Reflex claws back only part of it. As of midday October 31 the mod had 291 downloads, so crash reports are still thin. Keep an eye on the Posts tab of the mod page.
