After the GTA 6 showcase on Netflix, the internet got something Rockstar has withheld for three years: the names of the actors playing Jason and Lucia. The credits for Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look list Dylan Rourke and Manni L. Perez. Neither is a newcomer, both have thick television resumes, and one of them already has a line in a GTA game.
Manni L. Perez, playing Lucia Caminos
A New York actress, trained at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the Experimental Theatre Wing. What followed is the standard American route to experience: not one defining role, but a dozen solid appearances in shows everybody watches.
- Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Esperanza Morales in the episode Redemption In Her Corner. It won her an Imagen Award for best supporting actress, the award for Latino performers in American film and television.
- Jessica Jones. Tina in the eleventh episode of season two, 2018.
- Blindspot. Vanessa Eckert in the third episode of season three, 2017.
- Also on the list: Chicago P.D., The Blacklist and Spike Lee's series She's Gotta Have It.
The more interesting part sits elsewhere. Perez has worked for Rockstar before: she is credited with voicing a blackjack dealer in GTA Online. So the studio knew her long before this casting, and that weighs more than the physical resemblance people are arguing about in the comments.
Dylan Rourke, playing Jason Duval
An American actor with a similar shape of career: plenty of television, a few independent films, no headline lead roles. If you have watched the medical and firefighter shows of the past decade, you have seen him, you just did not catch the name.

- Station 19. Todd Youngblood across seasons two and three, 2019 and 2020. His most visible role so far.
- Modern Family in 2016, plus Mistresses, Timeless, Aquarius and 9-1-1: Lone Star.
- On film: Send It! in 2021, Jezebel in 2017 and Bury the Bride in 2023.
If the casting holds up, GTA 6 will be Rourke's first video game. Straight into a lead in the most expensive project the industry has ever mounted, which is quite a debut.
Why this is not official yet
Here comes the honest caveat that half the headlines online leave out. Rockstar has announced no casting. The names appeared in the trailer credits on IMDb after the showcase, backed by people recognising voices and faces. Enough for a database, not enough for a press release.
The studio has kept its performers out of sight until release for decades, so silence disproves nothing. But until Rockstar says it, the accurate phrasing is that these names sit in the showcase credits, not that a cast has been announced.
GTA 6 is due on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version remains unannounced.
